About the Event
The Sno-Isle Genealogy Society invites us to spend an evening with them and find out how to trace our family tree. Presenting this program is Jill Morelli, CG - a writer, lecturer and founder of the Certification Discussion Group, an online series outlining her journey to receive the credential Certified Genealogist. She is also one of the founders of the virtual Applied Genealogy Institute, providing practicum-based educational opportunities for high-intermediate and advanced genealogists. She lectures nationally and has written articles for National Genealogical Society Quarterly, Swedish American Genealogist, and many others. Jill is past president of the Seattle Genealogical Society, and a member of many local genealogical societies. This will be a high level overview, but it may be a great starting point for folks who want to dive deeper into their roots. Please REGISTER in advance at https://bit.ly/SIGSOct62021 (Society Members general meeting and social time starts at 6:30pm)
